Already with the red.

Adding red? You definatley cant go wrong there. More colours would be more exiting but also take tons of time, and who has any of that spare?

Lets learn how to write our a,b,c's!! Working on a "how to" book at the moment for the puny illiterate toddler that i secretly am, after finding a cheesy brightly coloured version at work. Just my excuse to draw loads of characters for random words realy, such as star trek and manga.

The first illustrations are always the hardest. (not realy, probably the easiest )

C for Camp, Crossdressing or confused. not too sure which one yet.

D for Depression

E for Exorcism

F for Fez

G for George. The one and only

A small quote can take you a long way

Small quotes seem to have a lot more impact to me, so i decided to illustrate a few. Of course nobody beats the buddha, he whoops ass when it comes to catchy sayings with lots of meaning.

I wanted to make my own pattern to go in the background to give it a bit more detail and make it more interesting. 

Profile page for the book: i thought i might as well add a profile page because............. im cool like that. I haven't added any text to it yet though because im not too sure what im going to put.

Its a work in progress: The front page illustration for my mini portfolio thing. Yes it is a rabbit. Again.

Sometimes when im thinking i realise that im actually not thinking and am just staring into space. When i try to think about it in detail my brain heats up and starts to smoke. Not good.

Fairytale me

Red riding hood, Snow white, Rapunzel, Hansel and Gretel and of course good old Alice. Fairytale stories like to pretend that they are all nice and good so people will buy them and read them to their children at night, but we know that secretly they are just as sick as everything else. For example if rapunzel WAS actualy by herself in that tower for so long, unless she took up Buddhism she would most definatley have been a cutter. For these illustrations i tried to think about what the charactors are actualy like and not what people pretend they are. In my opinion it gives them a lot more flavour. Skittles blue flavour.
